Mylee Ross - Physiotherapist & Co-Founder
Master of Science in Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy, Intramuscular Stimulation, Sport Physiotherapy Canada Certificate
Mylee co-founded Physiostation & Sports Injury Clinic in 2014 in order to expand her unique skill set as a Physiotherapist.
Mylee draws on her background as a competitive athlete and more than a decade of experience as a senior physiotherapist to help clients reach their full physical potential. She has worked with professional, amateur, youth, and recreational athletes, including helping NFL and BC Lions players with injury management and prevention. Mylee also does contract work as a Physiotherapist with the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team, has worked with National Lacrosse League players, and has been the Physiotherapist with the Langley Thunder Senior A Lacrosse Team for the past 5 seasons.
Mylee graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Certificate in Health and Fitness from Simon Fraser University where she held athletic scholarships to play both varsity soccer and softball. She graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia, and has also received advanced certifications in intramuscular stimulation (IMS). Mylee currently holds the highest certification from the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapists (FCAMPT) and has attained her Sport Physiotherapy certificate. She has taken Body Balance for Performance courses and has instructed at golf schools for women.
Mylee plays and coaches for the highly successful Surrey United Women’s Premier soccer team, the most successful team in Canadian Soccer club history. She enjoys spending her time playing soccer, road cycling, competing in triathlons, yoga, Pilates, and travelling. Mylee’s patients come from all walks of life, and include athletes recovering from acute injuries; athlete screening for prevention of injuries; concussion management cases; persons with work injuries; and individuals addressing chronic ailments.
Julie Sopko - Physiotherapist & Co-Founder
Physiotherapist, Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science, Certified Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Therapist, Certified Intramuscular Stimulation practitioner.
Julie co-founded Physiostation & Sports Injury Clinic in 2014 in order to incorporate a multifaceted approach to orthopaedic manual physiotherapy, drawing on her own background as a competitive athlete.
Julie has two decades of experience as a physiotherapist. She graduated with high distinction with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from The Pennsylvania State University in 1997, where she received a scholarship to play NCAA Division 1 softball. She was twice named an academic All-American during her time at Penn State.
In 2002, Julie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University. She continued pursuing advanced certifications in acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation (IMS), and in 2008 Julie obtained the highest advanced certification in Manual and Manipulative Therapy (COMT) from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists.
Julie gained valuable experience as a physiotherapist while working in New York at Westside Dance Physical Therapy, where she had the privilege of working on site and touring with the New York City Ballet. Julie also worked on site at Julliard, the School of American Ballet and has treated many professionals performing on Broadway. She also has extensive experience treating collegiate and professional athletes.
Julie’s current sports endeavors include snowboarding, mountain biking, and golf. Her patients come from all backgrounds, including athletes recovering from a wide range of acute injuries and surgeries; individuals addressing chronic ailments and clients involved in work injuries and motor vehicle accidents.
Laura Schuiling - Physiotherapist
Master of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy, Intramuscular Stimulation/Functional Dry Needling Practitioner.
Laura graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy from Curtin University in Perth, Australia. She also has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary.
Laura has completed several post-graduate training courses including her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative therapy, functional dry needling/intramuscular stimulation, and concussion/vestibular therapy.
Laura grew up playing basketball and volleyball and running cross-country. She is currently active in a wide variety of sports including basketball, rock climbing, hiking and snowshoeing. Having personal experience with injuries, Laura is committed to injury prevention and to restoring people to their pre-injury activity level. Laura is passionate about helping individuals of all ages and abilities participate in the activities they enjoy, and works with each person to meet their specific goals.
Kadi O'Neal - Physiotherapist
Master of Science in Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, Intramuscular Stimulation/Functional Dry Needling Practitioner, Clinical Pilates Instructor
Kadi is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities to reach their personal goals. She combines her physical therapy skill set with her experience as an elite gymnast to help athletes reach their full potential in sport and overall well-being. Kadi represented British Columbia at Western and Canadian National Artistic Gymnastics Championships as well as coached recreational and competitive gymnastics in Surrey and Delta for many years.
Kadi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Certificate in Health and Fitness from Simon Fraser University. She received her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University where she was awarded the Cora E. Hewitt Scholarship in Physical Therapy for academic excellence.
Intimately familiar with arthritis and the impact chronic disease can have on daily life; Kadi has a passion for helping others manage their disease to improve quality of life. She has volunteered with the Arthritis Society for many years facilitating educational and exercise sessions within the community. Kadi’s personal experience with arthritis drives her ability to help individuals with all types of chronic illness overcome their obstacles.
Kadi is a certified clinical Pilates instructor and uses her passion for movement to help people strengthen and move their body efficiently. She believes Pilates is a great way for people of all abilities to gain strength while overcoming injury or illness.
Kadi spends her time cycling, rock climbing, and walking the beach. She loves to travel, and cook delicious meals. Staying active through sports and fitness has long been a part of Kadi’s life and she aims to help others to achieve their personal goals.
Tara McCormick - Physiotherapist
Masters Degree in Physiotherapy, Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics, Certified Intramuscular Stimulation Practitioner, Certified Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapist.
Tara graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy in 2009. She completed a Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics from UBC in 2005. Tara is certified in IMS Gunn Intramuscular Neural Stimulation and holds a diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
Tara has been a member of FCAMPT since 2016.
She is passionate about dance and fitness related activities which ignited an interest in Pilates. Tara is now a Certified Clinical Pilates Instructor and offers one on one sessions at the Physiostation. Clinical Pilates combines manual therapy and movement training to assist in recovery and help the patient to achieve their individual goals. She enjoys treating sports and dance related injuries and has conducted several injury prevention workshops at dance studios within the community.
During her career Tara has been involved in personal training and rehabilitation of high performance athletes. While pursuing her Masters degree, Tara assisted with the treatment of international and NHL level athletes. Tara is currently working with the Vancouver Stealth Lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League as part of their medical team. She has also been involved with Langley Thunder Lacrosse league for the past 6 years.
Tara enjoys an active lifestyle with a variety of activities including: biking, skiing, surfing, yoga, pilates, dance, swimming, hiking, volleyball and weight training.
Jag Bains - Physiotherapist

Jag graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in England from Leeds Beckett University in 2018. Jag had opportunities to work in two prestigious orthopedic settings: The Yorkshire Clinic and The Police Treatment Centre. He graduated with his Bachelors in Kinesiology from University of British Columbia in 2013. Jag worked as a Kinesiologist prior to pursuing his MSc in Physiotherapy, where he analysed and coached movement patterns with athletes in various sports such as, soccer, football, basketball and power lifting.
Jag believes that physiotherapy intervention is an active approach to achieving patient’s goals. The journey to recovery requires the patient and therapist working together to achieve optimal function. Jag utilizes manual therapy, modalities, taping and most importantly exercise as his physiotherapeutic interventions. Additionally, his approach to treating a specific injury is global rather than local. Jag is an advocate of evidence-based practice, which ensures the patient receives the best and most up-to-date care possible.
Jag is an active person who grew up playing soccer, and currently plays in Top Flight Flag Football with and/or against junior level, semi professional and exCFL players. He also enjoys weight lifting, playing basketball, hiking and sprint training.
Jordan Wideman - Physiotherapist
Master of Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Certificate in Health & Fitness Studies, CPA Orthopaedic Division Level 2.
Jordan graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to that, Jordan completed his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. For several years as a Kinesiologist, Jordan worked in active rehabilitation, helping people recover from orthopaedic & neurological injuries of all kinds using an exercise-based approach. As a Physiotherapist, Jordan builds on his active rehab background by providing clients with a combination of exercise therapy, manual therapy, empowerment, and education interventions to support his clients in achieving their full potential. He has a keen interest in helping those of all backgrounds and abilities using an evidence-based approach to treatment.
Jordan grew up as a multi-sport athlete, playing volleyball, baseball, and hockey in North Delta & Surrey. As a result, he is passionate about helping athletes achieve peak performance, in addition to reducing the risk of injury before they happen. Jordan has experience teaching comprehensive injury prevention programs to local athletes, such as Surrey United Soccer Club & Surrey Orcas water polo athletes.
To stay active in his free time, Jordan enjoys playing volleyball & mediocre tennis, hiking, weight training, and spin class. Outside of staying active, he enjoys travelling, cooking, and finding new places to eat in the lower mainland (recommendations are always encouraged!).
Katie Humhej - Physiotherapist
Katie graduated with a BSc in Health Sciences with honours from Long Island University. She then went on to complete a second BSc in Exercise Science and Wellness from University of Minnesota- Crookston. She received her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.
Katie is passionate about motivating people through their recovery to attain their goals. Having an active background, and personal experience with injuries allows her to integrate a holistic, movement-based approach to her clients.
Katie uses her physiotherapy knowledge alongside her experience as an elite athlete to create goal driven comprehensive treatment programs. After growing up as a multisport athlete, Katie received a university scholarship to play softball in the NCAA. She received NFCA All American Scholar Athlete honours, Pitcher of the year and All-star accolades during her career. She was a member of the Czech Republic Women’s National team from 2017-2022, and has competed in international level competitions around the world, including the 2019 Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier. Katie was also a member of the Varsity Blues softball team during her MScPT, where she was named OUA Women’s Top Scholar Athlete of the Year. From her experiences and working with athletes, Katie has the unique understanding of the demands of high-level sport and the role of Physiotherapy to optimize performance post-injury.
Katie was a member of the Medical Team for the 2023 and 2024 Canada Cup International Softball Tournaments. In the 2024 event, she was the head Physiotherapist for Team Israel.
In her free time, you can find Katie enjoying recreational sports, hiking, spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, or weightlifting. Staying active in the softball community, Katie has transitioned into coaching with the Renegades program and enjoys working with young pitchers of all levels.
Tanis Cuthbert - Physiotherapist
Master of Science in Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology
Tanis graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors in Science in Kinesiology. While there, she received a scholarship to play varsity soccer after completing her youth soccer at Surrey United. Tanis obtained her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton in England, graduating with distinction and, top of her class.
Tanis implements a combination of manual therapy, exercise therapy and education to help patients achieve their rehab goals. She understands that each person has unique needs and does her utmost to tailor individual rehab plans. Tanis draws from her experience as a high-level athlete, sustaining several injuries herself and therefore appreciates the physical and mental toll injuries have on athletes. Tanis hopes to help others achieve their full potential and performance.
During her free time, you will see Tanis on the soccer field, where she continues to play Women’s Premier Division soccer. She enjoys the outdoors, staying active, exercising and spending time with family and friends. Tanis continues to be a fixture with the Surrey United Soccer Club, where she provides game-day and tournament physiotherapy coverage.
Alanna Reith - Registered Massage Therapist
Registered Massage Therapist, Bachelor of General Studies in Applied Science
The practice of Massage Therapy includes the assessment of the soft tissues and joints of the body for the purpose of the treatment and prevention of dysfunction, injury and pain and the optimization of performance. Massage Therapy has been shown to be an effective treatment option for soft tissue injuries, headaches, low back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, and a wide variety of other conditions.
Our Registered Massage Therapists will use a combination of hands-on techniques as well as therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, passive and active range of motion to help you reach your goals.
Kaitlin Tolentino - Kinesiologist and Team Lead

Kaitlin has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Psychology, Diploma in Kinesiology.
Kaitlin graduated from Langara College with a Diploma in Kinesiology in 2019. She then continued to study at SFU, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in kinesiology and psychology.
Kaitlin has a passion for strength and fitness that aids her in helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their fitness and rehabilitation goals. Kaitlin has experience working as a field-side kinesiologist for Surrey United Soccer Club. She also has experience working as a rehabilitation assistant with paralyzed patients. As a result, she has taken a particular interest in training women and our geriatric patients. Kaitlin enjoys power lifting and weight lifting in her free time and uses her knowledge of strength and conditioning to ensure the safety and empowerment of all the patients that she works with.
Dilsher Athwal - Registered Kinesiologist
Dilsher graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with distinction.
He completed his degree at Simon Fraser University with a special concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. His comprehensive education equips him to effectively support patients on their journey to recovery from various injuries. With a strong emphasis on human anatomy and exercise prescription, Dilsher employs evidence-based treatments tailored to help clients achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
With years of clinical experience, Dilsher excels in designing individualized rehabilitation programs that address the unique needs of each patient. He combines his expertise in personal training with active rehabilitation techniques, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery and fitness. In addition to his clinical work, Dilsher serves as a field-side athletic trainer for the Surrey United Soccer Club and Unity FC, where he is dedicated to optimizing athlete performance while prioritizing their safety.
Outside of work, Dilsher loves playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and video games Having dealt with injuries himself while playing sports, he truly understands the importance of balancing activity with recovery. He believes that anyone can start being active and lead a healthier lifestyle, no matter where they’re at in life. Dilsher is passionate about helping clients reach their physical goals and reduce the risk of future injuries.
Lavpreet Brar - Kinesiologist

Lavpreet is a fourth-year kinesiology student with a concentration in active health and rehabilitation.
Lavpreet attempts to use scientific-based approaches, research, and assessment to enhance human performance and prevent and rehabilitate injuries. He advocates evidence-based practice, ensuring the patient receives the best and most up-to-date care possible. He has experience volunteering as an athletic trainer for a middle school in New Westminster and as a basketball coach for a high school in Surrey. Additionally, he has experience working as a biomedical footwear assessor and a personal trainer. So, he will be able to answer your questions regarding injury rehabilitation, strength practicing (yes, strength practicing and not training), and shoes! He has been interested in human anatomy and injury rehabilitation since he was a young kid, leading him to the field of Kinesiology.
In his free time, he enjoys watching exercise videos to become better at teaching clients and progressing/regressing exercises. He also enjoys watching shows on Netflix and Crunchyroll and videos on YouTube.

Gazal has a deep appreciation for the transformative potential of physiotherapy with a profound passion for assisting patients facing physical limitations. She understands that the journey to recovery can be challenging, and their commitment is to create a warm and welcoming environment where every patient feels valued and supported. One of the driving forces behind her pursuit of patient care is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of individuals. Whether it’s aiding someone in their recovery from an injury or illness, or simply providing crucial emotional support during difficult times. She approaches each interaction with compassion and dedication.
Gazal’s role as a Recreation Assistant at SFU recreation provides her with the opportunity to work closely with individuals of varying physical abilities and fitness levels. This experience enhanced her understanding of the importance of tailored exercise programs and individualized support.
Outside of academics Gazal is an avid enthusiast of the great outdoors. They find solace and adventure in hiking, exploring nature’s wonders, and connecting with the natural world. She also has an undeniable love for the beach . Whether it’s a day of sunbathing, swimming, or taking long walks along the shoreline, the beach is their go-to destination for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Liz Huynh - Kinesiologist

Liz Huynh is a fourth-year Biomedical Physiology student at Simon Fraser University with a passion for guiding individuals through their rehabilitation journeys.
She finds great fulfillment in supporting individuals as they overcome physical challenges and reach their personal goals, whether recovering from an injury or working to enhance their overall physical health. Liz enjoys working with various populations, including older and young adults. Her personal goal is to help older adults reduce the risk of injury at home—a mission that began after assisting her parents with back pain management.
Her academic interests stem from an early fascination with human anatomy and the biomechanics of movement. Being part of a dragon boating and badminton team in secondary school helped her decide to pursue a career in this field. These gave her firsthand experience in how the body moves in complex, coordinated ways, sparking her desire to understand the underlying anatomy and mechanics.
Beyond her studies and work life, Liz is a nature enthusiast who enjoys hiking, snowboarding, visiting beaches to watch sunsets, and visiting piers. She also enjoys gym sessions alongside friends. When not out and about, she enjoys reading manga and spending time with loved ones. In the past Liz also played the guitar and flute, and she hopes to return to practicing soon.
Cammy Ross - Office Manager
Cammy graduated with a Business Management Certificate.
Cammy graduated at the top of her class and has thrived and enjoyed the management side while working in clinics. She has had the pleasure of running a multi-disciplinary clinic and maintains Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy and Kinesiology schedules. Cammy has many responsibilities such as accounting, human resources, payroll and enjoys working along side her co workers. She is a big believer in TEAM WORK, and everyone being an equal team member.
In her spare time, Cammy enjoys learning how to play hockey, and has a new respect for how hard the game is, even though people make it look so easy. Growing up she played softball and soccer and has continued to play slow pitch.
Cammy is happy to be a part of the Physiostation team and looks forward to being able to help others achieve their goals.
